I have been blessed to have owned 2 successful businesses in the past 30 years. My first business was a catering/wedding cake bakery based out of my home. I had a health department approved kitchen in my home that gave me the freedom to be home with my daughter from kindergarten through her college years. 

I then opened my massage private practice in 2008. Having been responsible for all aspects of this business - from initial business set up to marketing, website design, tax preparation, and fulfillment, I quickly learned how to be an effective and prosperous entrepeneur. My helpful tips will get you started into living your dream!

In 2010, the company my husband worked for went out of business. As a result of him unexpectedly losing his job, we were faced with having to enter the job market after being at this company most of his adult life. It was exhausting for us both - mentally, emotionally, and physically. 

We quickly realized that having an outstanding resume, cover letter, and interview skills made all the difference between him getting hired for "any job" vs a "great job" where he is actually paid what he is worth! Becoming comfortable with the interview process is a smart way to showcase your skillset under pressure.
